Privacy Policy

How TALON+ handles personal information across its website, products, customer support, purchases and related services.

Effective date: 17 September 2026

1. Who we are

TALON+ is a growing family of practical software tools for small and medium-sized businesses. TALON+ is the brand operated by TALON PLUS, a Singapore-registered sole proprietorship. JET is the first TALON+ product. This Privacy Policy explains how TALON+ handles personal information collected through the TALON+ website, product enquiries, customer support, purchases and delivery of TALON+ products and services.

2. What information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Enquiry information such as your name, email address and the contents of a message you send to us.
  • Support information that you choose to provide when asking for help with a TALON+ product or service.
  • Purchase and fulfilment information relating to a TALON+ product or service, including transaction references, customer/contact details, product entitlement or licence identifiers and fulfilment status where these are made available to us.
  • Technical information associated with visits to our website or delivery infrastructure, such as IP address, browser/device information and request information, to the extent this is made available by our hosting and security providers.

4. How we use personal information

We use personal information only for purposes connected with operating TALON+, including:

  • responding to enquiries and support requests;
  • processing and fulfilling purchases of TALON+ products, including where Paddle or another Merchant of Record or payment provider provides buyer information to us for fulfilment or product support;
  • communicating with customers about their transaction, product or support request;
  • protecting our website, products and services against fraud, abuse and security threats;
  • maintaining business, accounting and legal records; and
  • improving our products and services where permitted by applicable law.

We will not use customer purchase information for marketing merely because it was provided for fulfilment. Where marketing consent is required, we will obtain it through an appropriate mechanism. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw that consent by contacting us using the privacy/DPO contact below or by using the unsubscribe mechanism in the relevant communication. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully before withdrawal and may affect our ability to provide a service that depends on the consent.

5. Third-party providers

We use a small number of specialist providers to operate TALON+ and its products:

  • Paddle acts as Merchant of Record / authorised reseller for JET purchases. Paddle handles payment, tax, fraud and transaction administration and has its own buyer terms, refund policy and privacy notice.
  • Cloudflare Pages is used to host and deliver the TALON+ website and downloadable digital product files, including the JET software file.
  • Render is used to host the JET licence-fulfilment service, which may process customer and transaction information needed to issue and administer licences.
  • Resend is used to send transactional purchase and licence emails and may process recipient email addresses and message content for that purpose.
  • Licence fulfilment and communications providers may be used to issue licence entitlements, maintain fulfilment records and send purchase or support communications. These services may receive only the information needed for those purposes.

Other providers may be used for website hosting, security, customer support or communications. Where a provider processes personal information on our behalf, we assess the relevant data-protection and security arrangements before use.

6. International data transfers

Some TALON+ providers may process personal information outside Singapore. Where personal data is transferred outside Singapore, TALON+ will take steps required by applicable Singapore data-protection law to ensure that the transferred personal data receives a standard of protection comparable to that under the Singapore PDPA, including through appropriate contractual, organisational or other safeguards where required.

For example, payment and fulfilment information may be processed by Paddle in jurisdictions where Paddle or its service providers operate. The JET business/job database is designed to remain local to the customer rather than being transferred to TALON+ or its software-delivery infrastructure.

7. Cookies, analytics and tracking

As currently designed, the TALON+ and JET marketing pages do not intentionally rely on third-party analytics or advertising trackers. We will not describe the site as โ€œcookie-freeโ€ where a third-party service, such as a payment checkout, may use its own technical cookies or identifiers.

If we introduce analytics, advertising technology or other tracking that changes how personal information is collected or used, this notice will be updated and any required consent mechanism will be implemented.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the personal information we handle. These measures include access controls, HTTPS/TLS for web and delivery connections where applicable, restricted access to provider accounts, credential and secrets management, provider security controls and incident-response procedures.

JET's local-storage architecture also means TALON+ does not operate a central JET customer database containing customers' business/job records. Local JET data remains subject to the security of the customer's device, browser and local storage.

9. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including to provide support, maintain transaction and accounting records, administer product licences and fulfilment records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and comply with legal obligations.

As a general framework, enquiry and support information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the matter and any related follow-up; transaction, accounting and legal records are retained for the periods reasonably required for those purposes; and licence and fulfilment records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to administer the licence, provide support, prevent fraud and maintain appropriate business records. We will securely dispose of or de-identify personal information when it is no longer reasonably required for a business or legal purpose.

10. Access, correction, complaints and privacy concerns

You may contact us to request access to or correction of personal information that TALON+ holds about you, or to raise a privacy concern or complaint. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Where we rely on consent, you may also use the privacy/DPO contact below to request withdrawal of consent, subject to applicable law.

For purchase records held by Paddle, Paddle may also be the appropriate contact for transaction-specific information or refunds because Paddle is the Merchant of Record / authorised reseller. Nothing in this section limits your rights under applicable law.

If you are dissatisfied with how we handle a privacy matter, you may escalate the matter to the Singapore Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) after giving us a reasonable opportunity to address your concern.

11. Data breaches

We maintain a process for identifying, containing, assessing and responding to personal-data incidents. Where a breach is notifiable under applicable Singapore law, we will make the required notifications within the applicable timeframes and take reasonable steps to mitigate harm. Where the PDPA requires notification to the PDPC, we will notify the PDPC as soon as practicable and no later than the applicable statutory deadline.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our products, providers, data practices or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a material revision is published. We will maintain historical versions of material privacy notices for our records so that the version applicable at the relevant time can be identified.
