Why pricing matters

Too high can lose the job.
Too low can lose the margin.

Pricing is a balancing act. You need to be competitive enough to win the work — while making sure the price reflects the time, labour, materials, travel and overhead required to deliver it.

The goal isn't to be the cheapest. It's to price the work properly.
01 · OVERQUOTE

You price too high

The customer compares your quote with a competitor and the job goes elsewhere.

02 · UNDERQUOTE

You price too low

You win the job — but the work takes longer or costs more than the price allowed for.

03 · REPEAT

You make the same estimate again

Without a way to compare estimates with completed work, yesterday's assumption becomes tomorrow's guess.

04 · IMPROVE

You learn from the work

Record what happened, find patterns and use that evidence to sharpen future estimates.

JET · Job estimating software

Price the job. Know the number. Learn from the work.

JET is a practical pressure washing estimating and pricing tool built around the whole estimating cycle. It helps you build a quote, understand the numbers, record what actually happened and use that evidence to make future estimates more precise. In the full product, TALON turns completed-job data into measured recommendations that feed back into future estimates — helping you steadily improve how you price and plan jobs, while you remain in control of what changes.

What TALON actually recommends

See what “learning” looks like.

TALON compares your estimates with completed jobs and looks for repeatable differences. When there is enough evidence, it recommends a measured change to the assumptions behind your pricing. Those recommendations can then feed back into future estimates, helping your pricing become better calibrated to the way your business actually works.

Small errors add up

What does 30 minutes really cost you?

Being half an hour short on one job may not feel important. Repeat the same estimating error across dozens of jobs and it becomes meaningful.

Use the example as a reality check, not a promise of lost profit. It shows the illustrative loaded labour cost of time that wasn't included in the estimate.

How much does JET cost?
JET is currently $69. This is a limited-time price and a one-time purchase with no subscription.
Do I need to install JET?
JET is designed as a lightweight browser-based application rather than a traditional software installation. You download the JET product, open it in a modern web browser and work from there.
What devices or platforms does JET work on?
JET is designed to run in a modern web browser, with the main workflow designed for desktop and laptop screens. If you need to confirm compatibility with a particular browser, operating system or device, please contact us before purchasing.
Where is my business data stored?
JET stores your business data locally in the browser on your device. It does not require an account or cloud database. That keeps the product lightweight and gives you direct control over your business information.
Can I back up my JET data or move it to another computer?

No. JET is designed around practical Small / Medium / Large job sizing, with the option to enter a more precise area when you have it. The goal is to make estimating useful in the field without creating unnecessary measuring work.
What does TALON actually do?
TALON is JET's recommendation engine. It never changes your pricing automatically. You decide whether to Apply, Wait, Dismiss or Reverse a recommendation.
Is the free calculator the same as JET?
No. The free calculator is designed to help you price a job today. The full JET product adds persistent job history, actual results, comparison against estimates and TALON recommendations that learn from your completed work.
